3月31日，重慶國際馬拉松開跑，首次引入5G+VR直播。

4月28日，解放碑撥打出了重慶首個5G電話。

5G，無疑是當下的熱詞。

熱度的背后，是人們對于美好未來的熱切渴望。

自動駕駛、人工智能醫(yī)療系統(tǒng)、8K電視、可穿戴的智能助理……這些幾年前還停留在觀念層面的場景，隨著5G時代的到來，將飛入尋常百姓家。

這一切，可能比人們設(shè)想的還要快，5G時代已經(jīng)從人們的暢想中，實實在在走上前臺。

如果說，3G到4G開啟了移動互聯(lián)網(wǎng)絡(luò)大發(fā)展的時代，那4G到5G的轉(zhuǎn)變，無疑驅(qū)動了萬物互聯(lián)的數(shù)字社會的到來。

然而，5G對于重慶的意義，遠不止為市民提供更快的移動網(wǎng)絡(luò)、更大的信息容量、更廣的應(yīng)用場景。

“十三五”規(guī)劃將啟動5G商用寫入其中。

重慶正在建設(shè)內(nèi)陸開放高地，搭上5G信息“高鐵”，勢必會迎來一波新機遇。互聯(lián)網(wǎng)的入口拓寬之后，將撬動相關(guān)行業(yè)的深遠變化，進而成為推動經(jīng)濟高質(zhì)量發(fā)展的強勁動力。

All these may be faster than what people imagine, and the 5G era has really stepped onto the stage from the people’s imagination.

If the shift from 3G to 4G opens the era of mobile Internet development, the transformation from 4G to 5G undoubtedly drives the arrival of the digital society of the interconnection of all things.

However, the significance of 5G for Chongqing is much more than providing citizens with faster mobile networks, greater information capacity and wider application scenarios.

The “13th Five-Year Plan” includes the launching of commercial 5G.

As an inland open highland, Chongqing is bound to usher in a new wave of opportunities on the 5G information “high-speed rail”. After the broadening of the Internet access, it will leverage far-reaching changes in relevant industries and become a strong driver of high-quality economic development.

A vast entrance opened up by 5G is becoming increasingly wide in front of our eyes.
