“安檢”與“邊檢”（雙語加油站）

“安檢”，即“安全檢查”，英語譯為security inspection 或security check。例如：1.在機(jī)場，旅客與其個(gè)人物品均需接受安檢。At the airport, both passengers and their personal belongings need to undergo security check.

“邊檢”，即“邊防檢查”，英語譯為immigration inspection 或frontier inspection。例如：2.“中國邊檢”是負(fù)責(zé)控制其邊境的政府機(jī)構(gòu)。China Immigration Inspection is the governmental agency responsible for controlling its borders.3.所有進(jìn)出國境的旅客都需接受邊檢。All the passengers entering or leaving the country must go through frontier inspection.

“ 通關(guān)”， 就是“ 完成邊防檢查手續(xù)”，英語譯為to complete the immigration inspection procedures。例如：4.在這個(gè)口岸，95%的旅客可以在25分鐘以內(nèi)通關(guān)。At this port, 95% of the passengers can complete the immigration inspection procedures within 25 minutes. ▲
