英國外交部亞太事務國務大臣訪渝鞏固中英關系黃金時代

2018年7月23日至24日，英國外交部亞太事務國務大臣馬克·菲爾德首次訪問重慶。市委常委、常務副市長吳存榮在渝州賓館會見了馬克·菲爾德一行。

近年來，隨著中英關系穩(wěn)步向前發(fā)展，開辟了中英關系黃金時代，從科學創(chuàng)新到貿易投資，英國在眾多領域都是重慶的重要合作伙伴。馬克·菲爾德表示，英國企業(yè)已經在重慶生根發(fā)芽，涉及到廣泛的領域，從制造業(yè)到房地產業(yè)不一而足。英國在技術領域支持重慶的大數(shù)據(jù)智能戰(zhàn)略，將鼓勵更多英國高科技企業(yè)落戶重慶。

訪渝期間，馬克·菲爾德出席英國外交部志奮領獎學金成立35周年招待會，聽取了歷屆志奮領獎學金獲得者分享他們的故事;參觀了解了重慶城市發(fā)展和未來規(guī)劃，助推雙邊貿易投資及科學創(chuàng)新等方面廣泛且深入交流合作。

From July 23 to 24， 2018， Minister of State for Asia and the Pacific at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office， Mark Field， visited Chongqing for the first time. Wu Cunrong， member of the Standing Committee of the Municipal Party Committee and executive deputy mayor， met with Mark Field and the delegation at the Yuzhou Hotel.

In recent years， with the steady advancement of Sino-British relations， the golden age of Sino-British relations has been unveiled. From scientific innovation to trade and investment， the UK has been an important partner of Chongqing in many fields. Mark Field said that British companies have taken root in Chongqing， involving a wide range of fields， from manufacturing to real estate. The UK's support for Chongqing's big data intelligence strategy in the technology sector will encourage more UK high-tech companies to settle in Chongqing.

During his visit， Mark Field attended the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office's Chevening Scholarship and rubbed shoulders with previous Scholarship recipients for their stories. He also learned of Chongqing's urban development and future planning， and promoted extensive and in-depth exchanges and cooperation in bilateral trade， investment and scientific innovation.
