星期一的早晨，外面下起了傾盆大雨。Fox非常沮喪，他心想：學(xué)校的課外考察活動(dòng)又要泡湯了，還不如在家里休息一天呢！于是，他用生病的理由騙過了媽媽。但他的這個(gè)主意看起來一點(diǎn)都不妙……Why？ Lets find in the story.

On Monday morning， Fox gets up. “Today Miss Moons class is going on a big field trip！ Well have lots of fun！” he says.

But when Fox looks outside， he cant believe his eyes. Its raining cats and dogs. “Rats！ School wont be any fun today，” says Fox.

At breakfast， Fox is very quiet. “I have a sore throat，” he says. “But I will go to school anyway.”

“Oh， no，” says Mom. “You will go straight to bed.”

Fox gets nice and cozy. He reads his comic books. He listens to the radio.

“Feeling any better？” says Mom.

“Oh， no，” says Fox. “I feel much worse.”

Just then， Fox hears some voices outside. It is Miss Moon and the class.

“Were off on our field trip！ A little rain cant stop us！” says Miss Moon.

“This isnt funny，” says Fox.
