在英國(guó)倫敦泰晤士河南岸坐落著一家特色孔子學(xué)院——倫敦中醫(yī)孔子學(xué)院。它是由英國(guó)倫敦南岸大學(xué)、中國(guó)黑龍江中醫(yī)藥大學(xué)和哈爾濱師范大學(xué)中英兩國(guó)三所高校于2007 年合作創(chuàng)辦的全球第一所以中醫(yī)藥為特色開(kāi)展?jié)h語(yǔ)言教育和中醫(yī)養(yǎng)生文化推廣的孔子學(xué)院。該孔院2008 年正式揭牌運(yùn)營(yíng)。

Situated on the southern bank of the RiverThames in London，United Kingdom， standsan exceptional institution - the ConfuciusInstitute for 'Traditional Chinese Medicine（CITCM）. It was collaboratively foundedin 2007 by London South Bank University（LSBU），Heilongjiang University of ChineseMedicine， and Harbin Normal University.As the world's inaugural Confucius Institutededicated to Chinese language educationand traditional Chinese medicine culture，CITCM primarily focuses on teaching Chinesemedicine. It was officially inaugurated andbegan its operations in 2008.

孔院運(yùn)營(yíng)15年來(lái)，在進(jìn)行漢語(yǔ)教學(xué)的同時(shí)，積極推介中國(guó)的中醫(yī)特色文化，以實(shí)用易學(xué)的健康養(yǎng)生講座和中醫(yī)藥文化展覽和豐富多彩的工作坊吸引了當(dāng)?shù)孛癖?，拓展了中英人文交流領(lǐng)域，促進(jìn)了葉西醫(yī)的交流與合作。

For the past 15 years，CITCM has notonly been teaching Chinese language but alsoactively promoting Chinas distinctive traditionalmedicine culture. Through practical and easy-to-understand health and wellness lectures，exhibitions on traditional Chinese medicineculture， and a diverse range of workshops， ithas attracted residents，expanded the field ofcultural exchange between China and the UK，and facilitated communication and cooperationbetween the Chinese and Western medicine.
