無限的環(huán)

這棟面積為2 180m2的建筑包含了首層的畫廊和一家出版公司的辦公空間。坡州書城總體規(guī)劃的導則中，對于這塊不規(guī)則形狀用地的設定是以“巖石”為原型，建造一座以連續(xù)的曲面圍合的建筑。這座建筑是由兩層的“環(huán)”構成：首層為一座公共畫廊，2層為辦公空間，中央的開放空間則留作一個雕塑公園?？Х葟d、講堂等輔助設施則位于1層與2層之間的夾層，其同時與上下兩層相連，使得建筑內部成為一個連續(xù)的整體。

首層的花園、屋頂以及“環(huán)”的內部和外部，共同構成了一條長900m的連續(xù)步道，這條高度不斷變化的環(huán)在公共空間／私密空間、室內空間／室外空間之間創(chuàng)造出了一種流暢的互動。臺階與電梯作為不時出現(xiàn)的捷徑使得人們能夠共同而有效地利用建筑內部的各種功能?！酰ɡ钭g）

The Inf inite Loop

This 2 180-square-meter building houses a gal lery on the ground level and of fice space for a publication company. The guidelines of The Paju Book City master plan for this irregular-shaped site along the river stipulates a "rock" typology, a bui lding with a continuous, curvaceous enclosure. This building becomes a two-story ring, leaving a central open space for a sculpture garden, a public visitor's gallery on the ground level and of fices on the second level.Supporting facilities such as a cafeteria and a lecture hal l are located on the intermediate level between the two main levels, continuously connecting them.This makes the whole building a two-story, infinite loop of interior space.

The roof of the building and the garden on the ground, together with the interior and exterior of the ring, become an infinite, continuous promenade－900 meters of mul ti-level loops creating a f luid interaction between public/private and interior/exterior spaces. Occasional shortcut interruptions such as stairs and elevators al low simultaneous, ef ficient use between functions.□
