Ifyouarefeelingthatlifejustcannotbeanyworseforyou,itcanbechallengingtothinkpositivethoughts.Whenwearestressed,depressed,upset,orotherwiseinanegativestateofmindbecauseweperceivethat“badthings”keephappeningtous,itisimportanttoshiftthosenegativethoughtstosomethingpositive.Ifwedont,wewillonlyattractmore“badthings”.
Itisoftenveryhardtothinkpositivewhensomanythingsarenegative,butIcanassureyouthatsomeone,somewhereisworseoffthanyou.Wecanchoosetothinkdifferentlybybeginningwiththesmallestofsteps.
Ifyoustartwithonesmall,positivethingandrepeatitduringthecourseofyourday,youwillbegintomoveintoamorepositivesituation:positivethoughts,feelings,opportunitiesandpeoplewillstartshowingupinyourlife.Withpractice,youwillfindthatovertime,youwillchangeyouroutlookandchoosetobehappy,irregardlessoftheeventsaroundyou.
Hereareafewexamplesforyoutopractice.Saythemoutloudandwithfeeling!
1.Beginandendeachdaywitha“Thankyouforthiswonderful,gloriousday!”
2.Whenyouseethegaspriceshiking,say“IamsogladthatIamblessedtohaveavehicleinwhichtogetaround.”
3.Whenyouarelateforwork,say“IamsohappyandgratefulformyjobasIknowthatmanydonthaveone.”
4.Ifyouarehavinghealthproblems,begratefulforwhatdoeswork:“Ireallydoappreciatemyeyesthatsee,myearsthathear,mymouththattastes,mylegsthatwalk,myarmsthatlift,myhandsthatwrite,mymindthatthinks,mykneesthatbendandmytonguethattalks.”Thepossibilitieshereareendless:insertwhatdoesworkforyouandfeelgoodaboutit!
5.Writedownwhatyouregratefulforeachday.Inmomentswhenyourefeelingreallydown,readwhatyouwrotepreviously.Thiswillhelpupliftyourspirits.Ifyoupracticethisregularly,youwillfindthatyourlistwillgetlongerandlonger.
Thekeyistomoveyourselfintoapositivethoughtandkeepittherelongenoughtomakeitamomentofblissfulpeace.Themoreyoupractice,thehappieryoullbe.
如果你感覺生活對(duì)你來(lái)說(shuō)實(shí)在是糟糕之極,你可以挑戰(zhàn)著想些積極的東西。當(dāng)我們不堪重負(fù)、沮喪、失落,抑或因?yàn)槲覀冋J(rèn)為倒霉的事總是光臨我們而處于消極狀態(tài)時(shí),將這些消極的想法轉(zhuǎn)變?yōu)榉e極的是至關(guān)重要的。如果我們不這么做,只會(huì)招致更多的霉運(yùn)。
有如此之多的消極因素還要想些積極的東西,通常情況下這很難,但我可以保證,在某個(gè)地方有人比你情況還糟。我們可以換種方式,一步一步地細(xì)細(xì)思考。
從一件積極的小事情開始,并且一整天就一直重復(fù)想著,你將進(jìn)入一個(gè)更加積極的狀態(tài):積極的思想、情感、機(jī)遇,人們開始裝扮你的人生。這樣練下去,很快你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)你將改變你的觀點(diǎn),選擇快樂(lè)的生活,而不在意周圍那些瑣事。
下面有一些方法供你練習(xí)。要有感情的把它們大聲說(shuō)出來(lái)。
1.在每一天開始和結(jié)束的時(shí)候,說(shuō)一句“感謝這么愉快的一天!”。
2.燃?xì)鈨r(jià)格高漲的時(shí)候,說(shuō)“我很高興我至少還有著這輛車可以到處兜風(fēng)?!?/p>
3.上班遲到時(shí),說(shuō)“我很幸福并感激我的工作,因?yàn)槲抑篮芏嗳诉€沒(méi)有工作?!?/p>
4.如果你的健康出了問(wèn)題,對(duì)目前所擁有的要心存感激:“我真的感激我的眼睛還能看,我的耳朵還能聽,我的嘴還能品味,我的雙腿還能行走,我的雙臂還能抬起,我的雙手還能寫字,我還能思考,我的雙膝還能彎曲,我還能說(shuō)話?!边@兒有無(wú)窮盡的種種可能:珍惜你所擁有的,并善待它們!
5.記下每天讓你感激的事。每當(dāng)你失落的時(shí)候,讀一讀你曾經(jīng)寫下的心情,這會(huì)讓你重新振作起來(lái)。經(jīng)常這樣練習(xí)去,你會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)你所感激的東西越來(lái)越多。
轉(zhuǎn)為積極情緒并長(zhǎng)久保持著這種狀態(tài)的關(guān)鍵在于為自己創(chuàng)造幸福、寧?kù)o的一刻。練得越多,你就越幸福。
