新高中英語(yǔ)課程標(biāo)準(zhǔn)強(qiáng)調(diào),在教學(xué)過(guò)程中既要注重語(yǔ)言基礎(chǔ)訓(xùn)練,更要注重培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)交際能力。2012年秋季學(xué)期,廣西開(kāi)始實(shí)施高中新課程改革,在教學(xué)實(shí)踐與探索中,筆者有以下感悟:在高中英語(yǔ)教學(xué)中,教師要突出一個(gè)“用”字,牢牢抓住“運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言”這條主線,貫徹“即學(xué)即用”的教學(xué)原則。教師應(yīng)積極為學(xué)生創(chuàng)造感知和運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)的機(jī)會(huì),促使其主動(dòng)在實(shí)踐中學(xué)習(xí)和運(yùn)用英語(yǔ)。在平時(shí)的教學(xué)中,筆者主要通過(guò)以下方法促使學(xué)生在“用”中“學(xué)”,以“用”促“學(xué)”。
一、用所學(xué)詞匯、短語(yǔ)、句型等造句
在課堂上,筆者要求學(xué)生用所學(xué)詞匯、短語(yǔ)、句型等進(jìn)行造句。學(xué)生進(jìn)行造句練習(xí)的過(guò)程,其實(shí)就是信息加工與信息輸出的過(guò)程。此舉能使學(xué)生加深對(duì)所學(xué)語(yǔ)言知識(shí)的理解,使其牢固掌握詞匯、短語(yǔ)、句型等的意義與用法。此外,學(xué)生能夠成功運(yùn)用所學(xué)知識(shí)造句,會(huì)使其產(chǎn)生成就感,能激發(fā)學(xué)生的學(xué)習(xí)興趣。
例如,教學(xué)《英語(yǔ)》(必修3)的Unit 3 The Million Pound Bank Note時(shí),筆者選出本單元學(xué)習(xí)的重點(diǎn)短語(yǔ)(bring up,make a bit,go ahead,by accident,stare at,account for,on the contrary,in rags,as for),要求學(xué)生用這些短語(yǔ)造句。學(xué)生所造的句子內(nèi)容豐富,且非常貼近生活。學(xué)生們用短語(yǔ)bring up造出了以下句子:(1)Marys parents died from a traffic accident when she was 5 years old.The poor girl was brought up by her grandparents.(2)Our head teacher brought up a new question at the class meeting yesterday.(3)I was brought up in a small village.(4)He was brought up by a famous teacher and he can do well in all subjects.
二、用英語(yǔ)作值日?qǐng)?bào)告
在課前5分鐘,筆者要求學(xué)生用英語(yǔ)作值日?qǐng)?bào)告(用約10句英語(yǔ)講述),要求在報(bào)告中使用本單元出現(xiàn)的詞匯、短語(yǔ)和句型。此舉能同步培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的英語(yǔ)書(shū)面表達(dá)能力和英語(yǔ)口語(yǔ)表達(dá)能力,鍛煉學(xué)生“在眾人面前開(kāi)口說(shuō)英語(yǔ)”的膽量,同時(shí)可以對(duì)所學(xué)知識(shí)進(jìn)行有效復(fù)習(xí)。用英語(yǔ)作值日?qǐng)?bào)告使學(xué)生有“書(shū)到用時(shí)方恨少”的感覺(jué),使其能夠清晰地看到自己的學(xué)習(xí)效果及存在不足,一種無(wú)形的學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)力也隨之產(chǎn)生,促使其綜合運(yùn)用語(yǔ)言的能力不斷增強(qiáng)。筆者的一名學(xué)生作了以下英語(yǔ)值日?qǐng)?bào)告。
Good morning,my dear classmates.
Im on duty today.As for my duty report,Ill tell you something about my favorite writer,Mo Yan,who has just won the Nobel Prize for literature.He was born in a poor family and brought up in a small village.As a boy he was always in rags,went hungry and had a little education because his family was poor.He didnt give up studying,on the contrary,he studied harder by listening to stories,telling stories,teaching himself literature.During the period of his army life,he began to take a chance to write stories.Gradually,his novels were issued and became popular among readers.At last,in 2012,he became the first Chinese who won the Nobel Prize.His great success in literature accounts for his hard work and confidence.I admire him very much.Thats all.Thank you! 可以看出,這篇值日?qǐng)?bào)告里引用了不少短語(yǔ),其中 as for,in rags,brought up,to take a chance, accounts for是剛學(xué)的短語(yǔ),很明顯,學(xué)生做到了即學(xué)即用。
三、用英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)日記
每結(jié)束一個(gè)單元的學(xué)習(xí),筆者會(huì)讓學(xué)生用英語(yǔ)寫(xiě)一篇日記,要求學(xué)生將自己在本單元中學(xué)到的句型、短語(yǔ)、單詞等用于寫(xiě)作。寫(xiě)作是信息輸出的高級(jí)形態(tài)之一,剛開(kāi)始時(shí),學(xué)生往往會(huì)感覺(jué)比較困難。于是,筆者遵循循序漸進(jìn)的原則,起始階段只要求學(xué)生寫(xiě)幾個(gè)英語(yǔ)句子即可,然后逐漸增加篇幅,一個(gè)學(xué)期之后,發(fā)展到寫(xiě)約100個(gè)單詞的短文。筆者的一名學(xué)生撰寫(xiě)了以下英語(yǔ)日記。

When I sought something in my box yesterday,I spotted a picture of my beautiful birthplace by accident.It reminded me of my hometown where I was brought up.There are many tall trees and mountains that I used to take a chance to climb up and stared at the nightfall on the top of the mountain.The people there are friendly and kind.They are always ready to help those who are in trouble.There are also many delicious foods such as “Yuntun” and so on.The air is always fresh and the sky is blue.I can make a bet with you that if you go there you will love it.
不難看出,在這篇日記里,這名學(xué)生使用了8 個(gè)在《英語(yǔ)》(必修3) Unit 3 The Million Pound Bank Note中所學(xué)的詞匯和短語(yǔ)。學(xué)生寫(xiě)日記的過(guò)程,其實(shí)也是復(fù)習(xí)和鞏固所學(xué)知識(shí)的過(guò)程。
總之,筆者在教學(xué)中運(yùn)用造句、作值日?qǐng)?bào)告、寫(xiě)日記等一系列信息輸出活動(dòng),促使學(xué)生在“用”中“學(xué)”,以“用”促“學(xué)”,收到了較為理想的教學(xué)效果。
