“何香凝藝術(shù)精品展”2013杭州巡展持續(xù)到4月9日在浙江美術(shù)館謝幕。何香凝是中國近現(xiàn)代集政治活動(dòng)家和藝術(shù)家于一身的偉大女性。她在跟隨孫中山先生革命之余，與柳亞子、經(jīng)亨頤、陳樹人等人組成“寒之友社”，活躍于當(dāng)時(shí)的中國畫界。

此次杭州巡展由兩部分組成。第一部分展示何香凝跨越五十余年創(chuàng)作的36件精品；第二部分展出、播映何香凝的歷史文獻(xiàn)。上世紀(jì)二三十年代，何香凝與滬杭一帶的文人、畫家交往甚密。1934年何香凝在浙江上虞白馬湖期間，創(chuàng)作了不少竹梅菊蘭等作品，其中不少由經(jīng)亨頤題款配詩。

何香凝早期的畫以虎、獅、鹿、馬、牛、猿等動(dòng)物最為出色，其次是山水和花卉。她的畫重在用筆，以傳統(tǒng)的筆法為主，用色清新明亮，又和墨、線渾然一體。后期作品筆墨比以前沉著很多，墨色愈發(fā)深沉、穩(wěn)重、深入。在此次展覽的畫作中，她丈夫廖仲愷最喜歡的是一幅名為《獅》的畫作。

He Xiangninng （1878-1972） was a great revolutionary， politician and artist. She was highly active in the 1911 revolution with Dr. Sun Yat-sen， the first president of the Republic of China （1911-1949）. The exhibition in Hangzhou displayed 36 paintings He Xiangning created over a period of more than 50 years. In the 1920s and 1930s， she befriended quite a few artists in Shanghai and Hangzhou and had close contacts with them for decades. The second part of the exhibition exhibited historical documents that highlighted her life.

He Xiangning was a versatile artist. In the early years as an artist， she loved to paint animals such as tiger， lion， deer， horse and buffalo. Her landscape and flower paintings were also excellent. As she matured as an artist， she developed special ink techniques. One of the 36 paintings on display was entitled Lion， her husband Liao Zhongkais favorite.
