Do you mind helping us?
Im sure he wouldnt mind your going with us.
There will be a meeting tonight. Mind not to be late.
Ive a good mind to go home.
We are all of one mind on this subject.
Out of sight, out of mind.
You must keep this in mind.
Would/Do you mind…?
Would/Do you mind my smoking here?
正:Do you mind if I smoke here?
正:Would you mind if I smoked here?
(1)Would you mind doing…?
Would you mind looking after my pet cat while Im away?
Would you mind turning down the computer?
(2)Would you mind not doing…?
Would you mind not jumping the queue?
Would you mind not singing in class?
(3)Would you mind doing…?
Would you mind my/me sitting here?
Would you mind her swimming with us?
(4)Would you mind+if
Would you mind if we played baseball on the street?
Would you mind if I came a little later?
Yes, I do mind./Please dont…/Better not, please./Id rather you didnt./Im sorry, but…等。例如:
——Would you mind helping me do the dishes?
——Im sorry, but I have to do my homework.
——Would you mind my smoking here?
——Youd better not. Im not feeling well now.
Oh, no, please./No, not at all./Not at all./Certainly not./Of course not./No, go ahead. 等。例如:
——Would you mind turning on the light?
——Certainly not.
——Would you mind my standing here?
——Not at all.
四、用于make up ones mind
Ive made up my mind to be a doctor.
We made up our minds to spend our holiday in the country.
