廁所是人們每日離不開的地方。英語有各種各樣表示“廁所”的對應(yīng)詞，包括toilet, lavatory, bathroom, washroom,washing room, restroom 等。“廁所革命”，英語譯為toilet revolution。例如：

1. 中國已在全國范圍內(nèi)的旅游景區(qū)發(fā)動一場廁所革命，使廁所設(shè)施更加整潔、更加規(guī)范。China has launched a toilet revolution at tourist sites across the country to make the toilet facilities cleaner and more regulated.

2. 廁所革命是旨在改善中國旅游景點廁所的外觀與設(shè)施的全國性行動。The toilet revolution is a national campaign to improve both the appearance and facilities in washrooms at tourist attractions in China.

3. 中國計劃5年內(nèi)在旅游景區(qū)和旅游線路修建、擴(kuò)建和改建10 萬座廁所。China plans to build, expand and renovate 100,000 toilets in scenic areas and along tourist routes within five years.

4. 廁所革命并不意味著修建豪華廁所。我們應(yīng)該用科技推進(jìn)廁所革命。The toilet revolution doesn't mean the construction of luxurious toilets. We should advance the toilet revolution with the help of science and technology.▲
