重要性：通過(guò)這節(jié)課了解中國(guó)美國(guó)中學(xué)的區(qū)別和共同點(diǎn)

二、教學(xué)目標(biāo)

1.Know about American school systems by using reading skills （了解美國(guó)教育體制）

2.Find the key phrases and understand language learning：cover多義；the first of which

3. Learn the form of an English letter.

三、學(xué)習(xí)者特征分析

1. 學(xué)生對(duì)中國(guó)中學(xué)有一定的了解，但是對(duì)美國(guó)中學(xué)不太了解，對(duì)相對(duì)應(yīng)的英語(yǔ)表達(dá)知道甚少。

2. 學(xué)生多數(shù)喜歡自主學(xué)習(xí)及討論學(xué)習(xí)的方式。

3.結(jié)合學(xué)生平時(shí)的這種討論學(xué)習(xí)的風(fēng)格以及這篇課文的教學(xué)特征，決定采取任務(wù)教學(xué)的教學(xué)方式并結(jié)合學(xué)生自主表達(dá)，學(xué)生質(zhì)疑答疑，互評(píng)總結(jié)的過(guò)程。

四、教學(xué)策略選擇與設(shè)計(jì)

基本理念是以學(xué)生自主交流展示，討論表達(dá)為主，教師進(jìn)行組織，評(píng)價(jià)，點(diǎn)撥。主要采取任務(wù)教學(xué)和小組討論的方法。

重點(diǎn)及難點(diǎn)：掌握一定的閱讀技巧，能在有限時(shí)間內(nèi)，學(xué)生有效的找到閱讀信息。

六、教學(xué)過(guò)程

1.Warming up（熱身）。

（2）通過(guò)設(shè)問(wèn)讓學(xué)生自由口頭英文表述，鍛練學(xué)生說(shuō)的能力。

2.Lead in（導(dǎo)入）。
