The Wonderful Person了不起的人

The examiner: “Do you think Shakespeare would be a wonderful person if he was alive today?”

Student: “Yes, he would be a wonderful person,because we can not find a person in the world who lives more than four hundred years.”

主考人：“如果莎士比亞今天還活著，你認(rèn)為他是否會(huì)成為一個(gè)很了不起的人物？”

學(xué)生：“是的，他肯定會(huì)成為一個(gè)非常了不起的人物，因?yàn)槭澜缟线€找不到一個(gè)能活到400多歲的人。”

I’m Going Left我要左轉(zhuǎn)了

My teenage daughter was nervous as she took the wheel for her first driving lesson. As she was pulling out of the parking lot, the instructor said, “Turn left here. And don’t forget to let the people behind you know what you’re doing.”

She turned to the students sitting in the back seat and announced, “I’m going left.”

我女兒上駕駛課第一次握方向盤(pán)，很緊張。當(dāng)她開(kāi)著車(chē)從停車(chē)場(chǎng)出來(lái)的時(shí)候，教練說(shuō)：“在這里左轉(zhuǎn)，不要忘記告訴你后面的人你要干什么。”

她轉(zhuǎn)過(guò)頭來(lái)對(duì)坐在后排的同學(xué)說(shuō)：“我要左轉(zhuǎn)了?！?/p>

The Impolite Behaviour不禮貌行為

In the moral education session, the teacher found that David was bending over the table sleeping, and then called him, “David!”

David was awakened and replied, “Yes, Sir!”

Teacher: “What is an example of impolite behaviour?”

David said loudly, “Disturbing others’ rest is an example of impolite behaviour!”

老師在給學(xué)生們上道德教育課時(shí)，發(fā)現(xiàn)大衛(wèi)伏在桌上打盹兒，就叫道：“大衛(wèi)！”

大衛(wèi)被驚醒了，應(yīng)道：“到！”

老師：“什么是不禮貌行為？”

大衛(wèi)大聲說(shuō)：“打擾別人休息是不禮貌行為！”
