一、教材分析
本模塊的主題是 “Animal facts”。它是以學生喜歡的話題“動物習性”為主要教學內容。 Unit 1中出現(xiàn)的重點句型有:Pandas eat for twelve hours a day. They love bamboo. Do snakes like music? 相關的詞匯有:believe, together, lucky, bamboo, DVD, snake, its, body, get, frightened等。我將本單元內容設計為本模塊的第一課時。本課時為新知識的呈現(xiàn)。
二、教學重點和難點
重點:
1.掌握以下四會詞:lucky, DVD, snake, bamboo…
2.掌握四會句:Do… like…
難點:通過本模塊的學習,學生能用英語向他人描述某些動物的生活習性,以及能向他人詢問動物的生活習性。
三、教學目標
1.知識目標:
(1)能聽說認讀以下四會詞:lucky, DVD, snake, bamboo…
(2)能聽懂、能實際運用句型Do you like…? Yes, I do / No, I dont.
2.能力目標:
通過本模塊的學習,學生能用英語向他人描述某些動物的生活習性,以及能向他人詢問動物的生活習性。能將語言內容轉化為實際交際。
3.情感目標:
通過動物單詞、句型的學習以及情景教學,激發(fā)學生愛護動物,熱愛大自然,熱愛生活的美好情感。
四、教法和學法
在教學中,我采用“真實運用任務教學法”、“活動性教學法”和“創(chuàng)設情景教學法”來完成教學任務。借助實物情景,進行小組對話,全班問答。借助動作、手勢加以解釋,幫助學生對句子意思有更形象的理解。為充分激發(fā)學生的學習興趣,我為本單元設計的任務是:描述你最喜歡的動物。
五、教學步驟
Step 1 讓學生看動畫片并唱英文歌曲: Old Macdonald had a farm.欣賞完歌后,老師提問:What animals can you see on the farm?由此引出本課關于動物的話題。(設計意圖:營造活躍輕松的課前氣氛,培養(yǎng)他們對英語的興趣,使學生帶著積極和活躍的心態(tài)投入課堂中)過渡句:Do you like animals?
Step 2.Warming up
1.大屏幕顯示謎面讓學生猜動物。
They have got long tails. They climb trees very fast. They like bananas. What are they? (monkeys)
They are long. They have got small heads. They have got no legs. What are they? (snakes)
They have got no legs. They live in water. What are they? (fish)
They are strong and big. They sleep in winter. What are they? (bears)
They are fat. They are black and white. They live in China. What are they? (pandas)
(設計意圖:復習舊知識的同時也為學習新知識做好了鋪墊,同時也鍛煉了學生的聽力)
2.Lead in the new lesson. Do you like animals? Today we are going to know more about animal facts. Id like each group make a riddle about animals and the other groups guess what are they? 請每個小組都來編寫動物謎語,請其他組來猜猜它們描述的是什么動物。So you should learn how to talk about animal facts, then you can do it well, OK?
(設計意圖:提出任務,為本課教學內容創(chuàng)設環(huán)境。讓學生更有針對性和目的性的學習。)
Step 3. Presentation
1.Listen to the tape carefully,then tell me how many animals can you hear?What are they?
(設計意圖:課文整體呈現(xiàn),為學生提供使用語言的環(huán)境。)
2.Listen to the tape again,underline the new words and discuss them in groups, try to understand its meaning.
(設計意圖:給學生提出要求,他們會有目的的去聽,去聽他們不認識的單詞的發(fā)音,然后小組合作,解決問題,會培養(yǎng)學生的自主學習能力和團結協(xié)作能力)
3.Check and teach the new words
4.Listen to the tape, pause it for the children to follow it.
(設計意圖:正音和及時鞏固。)
5.The children read the text by themselves, then try to answer the following questions in groups.
1.Who gives Daming the presenrt?
2.What is the present?
3.How many hours do pandas eat a day?
4.What do pandas like to eat?
5.Do snakes like music?Why?
6.Does Daming like the present?
(設計意圖:讓學生帶著問題去讀課文,在培養(yǎng)他們閱讀能力的同時,也培養(yǎng)了他們的思維能力和理解能力,然后以小組合作的方式來討論問題,解決問題,體現(xiàn)學生間的互助合作,同時也是對她們自主學習能力的培養(yǎng)。)
Step 4. Lets have a chant:
Pandas, pandas, lucky pandas.
Bamboo, bamboo, they love bamboo.
Snakes, snakes, lucky snakes.
Hear, hear, they cant hear.
CD-ROM,CD-ROM, an interesting CD-ROM.
Present, present, a fantastic present.
(設計意圖:讓學生在輕松愉快中結束對課文的學習。)

教學反思:這節(jié)課我根據(jù)教學內容和學生的年齡特點設計了一系列的教學活動,精心設計了形式多樣的、生動活潑的、學生樂于接受的趣味性活動,多方位調動學生的多種感官積極參與課堂教學。尤其在猜一猜的活動,同學們更是異常踴躍。借助視覺、聽覺等器官刺激,使學生多種感官參與課堂教學,使學生更加主動的學習,使學習效果更加好。
另外,創(chuàng)編chant活動可以培養(yǎng)學生的創(chuàng)造力和分析、歸納、總結的能力,讓學生感到好奇、新鮮、有趣,這樣學生能夠愿意去學進而能夠主動去學,知識才能夠被接受,這樣學生的能力才能夠得到提高。
