項目位于清華大學(xué)校園中心，新建的7棟宿舍樓替換了場地上原建于1950年代的6棟宿舍樓。為了保留場地上近200棵大樹，新建筑決定沿用舊建筑的基址和體塊。清水紅磚的建筑立面延續(xù)了原有的場所記憶，豐富的細部設(shè)計則為校園建筑的文化性作出了一種當代解答。

Student Dormitory Buildings No.6-11 retain the site and volumes of the 6 existing dormitories on site in order to protect 200 trees of 60 years old. While the fa?ade with red brickwork echoes to the memory of place, the detail design provides a solution to the topic in contemporary context:how to implant cultural characters into campus buildings.
