糖尿病(Diabetes)

Pharmacist：Hello!What can I do for you？

藥師：您好，請問您需要什么幫助？

Client：I want to ask you about general instructions on how to take medication for diab etes.

顧客：我想咨詢一下有關糖尿病的用藥常識。

Pharmacist：Has the patient been diagnosed as diabetic？

藥師：病人已經(jīng)被確診為糖尿病了嗎？

Client：Yes,but it is not very serious.

顧客：是的，不過不嚴重。

Pharmacist：What are your main concerns？

藥師：您主要想了解哪方面的內(nèi)容呢？

Client：The different kinds of medicine and the directions for their use.

顧客：我想了解一下目前治療糖尿病都有哪些藥，病人在用藥時要注意些什么。

Pharmacist：Which type of diabetes does the patient have？Type 1,type 2 or something else？

藥師：病人屬于糖尿病的哪種類型？是1型的，2型的，還是其他類型的？

Client：Type 2.Please tell me about the disease since I know little about it.

顧客：醫(yī)生說是2型的，我對此還太理解，您能解釋一下嗎？

Pharmacist：Type 1 is insulin-dependent and has clear symptoms while type 2 could run in the family and with no clear symptoms.

藥師：1型糖尿病以往稱為胰島素依賴型糖尿病，發(fā)病時癥狀較明顯，2型的則有明顯的家族聚集傾向，癥狀不太明顯。

Client：How about the medicine？

顧客：那治療的藥物有哪些呢？

Pharmacist：We usually prescribe medicine according to the conditions of the blood sugar levels.If the level is not high before meals or on an empty stomach and gets higher after a meal,taking α-glucosidase inhibitor,such as carbose will be the first choice.If the symptoms are a higher blood sugar level mostly after a meal and slightly high before eating,you'd better consider benzoic acid derivatives.If it is high before a meal or on an empty stomach,no matter what conditions the blood sugar levels are after eating,sulfonylureas as glibenclamideor should be used.

藥師：可以按病人高血糖類型選藥。如果是單純的餐后血糖高，而空腹和餐前血糖不太高，則首選糖苷酶抑制劑，如拜糖蘋；如果以餐后血糖升高為主，伴有餐前血糖輕度升高，應首先考慮苯甲酸衍生物；如果空腹、餐前血糖高，不管是否有餐后血糖高，都應考慮用磺脲類，如優(yōu)降糖。

Client：Your explanation has helped me understand about the disease.Well,how should the patient take care of himself？

顧客：聽您這么一說，我真是受益匪淺。對了，病人平時需注意些什么呢？

Pharmacist：Please pay attention to his dietary structure.Eat foods rich in protein and low fat.Do moderate exercise and have a regular check-up for blood sugar levels.

藥師：要注意飲食，多吃高蛋白質(zhì)、低脂肪的食物，要適當運動，還要定期監(jiān)測血糖。

Client：Thank you.I'll call on when I need your help.Bye!

顧客：謝謝，如有疑問再來求助，再見。
