Responsibility and Academic Spirit of Dance Journals
編者按 舞蹈刊物屬于社會(huì)媒體或媒介這一復(fù)雜變動(dòng)有機(jī)體的組成部分。明確責(zé)任擔(dān)當(dāng)和學(xué)術(shù)精神是一切刊物生存與發(fā)展的前提和精神支柱。當(dāng)代中國(guó)舞蹈正式公開發(fā)行的專業(yè)刊物屈指可數(shù),彌足珍貴,在20世紀(jì)80至90年代的鼎盛時(shí)期只有《舞蹈》《北京舞蹈學(xué)院學(xué)報(bào)》《舞蹈論叢》《舞蹈藝術(shù)》(叢刊)四家,目前僅存《舞蹈》和《北京舞蹈學(xué)院學(xué)報(bào)》兩家。它們和以《舞蹈研究》為代表的中國(guó)舞蹈家協(xié)會(huì)下屬的各省、市、自治區(qū)的分會(huì)主辦的數(shù)十家內(nèi)部刊物一起,多年來(lái)為中華民族舞蹈文化的傳播、中國(guó)舞蹈學(xué)科建設(shè)、中外舞蹈文化交流做出了重要的貢獻(xiàn)。對(duì)刊物的責(zé)任與學(xué)術(shù)精神提出討論,是基于信息時(shí)代,媒體或媒介之于人類生存與發(fā)展承擔(dān)越來(lái)越多的功能,擔(dān)綱愈來(lái)愈重要的角色;亦在于,商品經(jīng)濟(jì)大潮和欲望的沖擊,致使學(xué)界一些人忘卻自身的角色和社會(huì)的責(zé)任,學(xué)術(shù)道德淪喪,學(xué)術(shù)精神喪失,致使刊物不自覺地負(fù)載了某些精神垃圾,記錄了不真實(shí)的歷史,甚至是歷史的謊言,或者滋生了平庸的文化,腐蝕了國(guó)民的精神……因而,年輕且因“稀”而貴的舞蹈刊物及其舞蹈學(xué)界不得不思考:如何抵抗侵蝕,獲得強(qiáng)有力的抵抗力和免疫力?在《當(dāng)代舞蹈藝術(shù)研究》創(chuàng)刊之際,為汲取先進(jìn)的辦刊經(jīng)驗(yàn),避免不良學(xué)風(fēng)的侵襲,思考舞蹈刊物與學(xué)術(shù)建設(shè)的現(xiàn)狀及其發(fā)展方向,本刊特邀中國(guó)目前僅有的三家正式公開發(fā)行的舞蹈專業(yè)雜志——《舞蹈》《北京舞蹈學(xué)院學(xué)報(bào)》《當(dāng)代舞蹈藝術(shù)研究》的現(xiàn)任或部分前任主編,組織了這場(chǎng)筆會(huì),討論關(guān)于“舞蹈刊物的責(zé)任與學(xué)術(shù)精神”的問(wèn)題。
The dance journal is a component of the media in society,which is a complex and changing organism. Clear responsibility and academic spirit are the premises and spiritual support for the publication and development of dance journals, and also for all the other journals. There are very few yet precious of fi cially published academic dance journals in contemporary China. During its heyday from 1980s to 1990s, there were four dance journals,Dance,Journal of Beijing Dance Academy,Journal of Dance Essays, andDance Art(series). Today, onlyDanceandJournal of Beijing Dance Academyare still in publication.These two journals, among tens of internal journals, notablyDance Study, published by the Chinese Dancers Association branches in different provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, have made great contributions to the dissemination of Chinese national dance culture, the construction of Chinese dance discipline and the cultural exchange of Chinese and foreign dance for many years.
The discussions on the responsibility and academic spirit of the dance journals are based on the reality of this age of information that media is performing increasingly more functions, and playing a role of growing importance in human’s life and development. Also, affected by the tides of commercial economy and excessive desire, a few people in academia forgot their roles and social responsibility, and lost the academic ethnics and spirit. Inevitably, dance journals were therefore loaded with intellectual trash, false history,and even lie on history, producing mediocre culture and corroding people’s mind… So, the young, rare and precious dance journals and the dance academia must re fl ect on the following issues: how to fi ght the erosion and obtain strong resistance and immunity? Upon the inception ofJournal of Contemporary Research in Dance, to learn advanced experiences of journal management, to avoid negative in fl uences from unsound academic styles, and to re fl ect the current status and development of the dance journals and academic construction, our journal invited present and previous editor-in-chiefs fromDance,Journal of Beijing Dance AcademyandJournal of Contemporary Research in Dance,the only three professional dance journals that are currently in of fi cial publication, to join the symposium and discuss the issue of “the responsibility and academic spirit of dance journals”.
