坐擁大山大水的大重慶，這些年來，其橋都之名漸漸遠(yuǎn)播。

橋是譽(yù)。在江河密布的重慶，上萬座大小橋梁跨江越谷，也有人贊它為“萬橋之都”——不僅數(shù)量居全國之首、橋型齊全，重慶橋梁還創(chuàng)下了一些“中國之最”“亞洲之最”“世界之最”。

橋是路。在偌大的江上之城，它代表著連接與溝通。生活于岸邊的人們天然地渴望著與對岸相通，以直接的、便捷的方式。一座座大橋的興建，創(chuàng)造性的設(shè)計(jì)，讓兩江四岸的阻隔越來越小——連通的快感躍然江上、山間，城市的血脈與肌理更為豐富。

橋是美。設(shè)計(jì)者們將線條、色彩與力量巧妙地賦于橋上，無論白晝，光影云彩，江河水光，總能與橋營造出奇特的美感，吸引無數(shù)鏡頭留下熾烈的畫面，或剛，或柔，或剛?cè)嵯酀?jì)。

橋，更是生長。從各式各樣的橋梁上，我們能看到的不僅僅是物化的東西，更是一座城市的生長，和附著其上的經(jīng)濟(jì)社會(huì)發(fā)展。

所以，看橋其實(shí)不僅僅是看橋本身。

Chongqing, a city situated over two big rivers and on huge mountains, has won a household name of bridge city lately.

Bridges brings up fame. More than 10,000 bridges fly across rivers and valleys where you could easily see the waters, thus making people call it "a city of 10 thousand bridges". They do not merely rank first in terms of number across the nation, but have broken some records of China, Asia, and even over the world.

Bridges equals roads. For such a massive city over two rivers, bridges play a big role in connecting and communicating. People here living on the riverbanks naturally anticipate contacting with others over the opposite side directly and conveniently. Newly built and innovatively designed bridges over the years have narrowed barriers in between and speeded up the transport.

Bridges are beautiful. Designers combines lines, colors and strength perfectly together. No matter day or night, the light, shadows, clouds along with reflection of waters match with each other, displaying incredible sense of beauty and attracting numerous photographers to shoot brilliant images, powerful or mild.

Furthermore, Bridges produce boom. They are not mere physical objects with varied looks, but have marked the growth, the economic and social development of Chongqing.

Hopefully, when appreciating those bridges, one should dig more of them.
