Landscape painting has a history of thousands of years in China. The reason why natural landscape is popular lies in its inherent spirit and powerful vitality. The peaceful， harmonious and natural characteristics of landscape make it the best carrier of Chinese culture. Creating a landscape painting requires the artist to accurately portray natural scenery， and the most important thing is to integrate life and emotion into mountainss and trees， expressing artist conception via scenery.

山水入畫，已有千百年的歷史。自然山水之所以備受歷代文人墨客的青睞，與其所蘊含的內在精神氣質和不息的生命力有著密切的聯系。山水塊然而生、寧靜和諧、天然無雕飾的種種特性，使其能夠成為熔鑄中華民族文化意識和生命意識的最好載體。山水“質有而趣靈”的基本性格和精神內涵，要求藝術家創(chuàng)作出的山水畫首先是準確傳達自然景物之勢，其次更重要的是將生命情感融會于一山一石、一草一木之中，借物抒情?！巴鈳熢旎械眯脑础北磉_的正是這個意思。

楊鴻林的山水畫，往往于萬丈危崖之中置飛流瀑布、崖頂勁松之端附煙云霧靄、晨炊農舍之間孕育生活雋永，充分凸顯出山體的重巒疊嶂和氣勢恢弘。在對山水“以形寫形，以色貌色”的同時，他借濃墨淡彩，將清新俊逸、淡雅脫俗的胸臆灌注于起伏的山巒與縹緲的煙云之中，將襟抱山水的寬闊胸懷淋漓盡致地展現于尺幅之上，自然景物之“趣”與畫家情意之“韻”互為滲透，情景交融。楊鴻林的山水畫正是對“外師造化，中得心源”創(chuàng)作準則的秉承。

“詩以山川為境，山川亦以詩為境。”畫中蘊含詩意是營造意境的必需條件。楊鴻林山水畫意境豪壯奔放、含蓄雋永，寓含濃郁的詩意。畫家采用了“仰觀俯察”“以大觀小”或以“以小觀大”的審美觀照方式，從整體上把握自然山川的磅礴與靜謐，以情驅筆，氣力相通，畫有盡而意無窮。不管是小橋流水、江南農舍，還是蜀鄉(xiāng)苗寨、峽江黃土，盡顯畫家扎實的功底與體驗生活的能力。

中國畫史上，凡有成就的畫家，皆注重精神涵養(yǎng)的修行。楊鴻林生性敦厚質樸、踏實勤奮，早在部隊服役期間便廣泛涉獵、博覽群書，著力提高自身的理論水平。從部隊轉業(yè)到報社干編輯以及后來上大學期間，他多次橐筆負芨翻山越嶺，到大自然中尋覓和切摸山川秀水的脈搏：出塞外，走蜀道，臨九寨，觀三峽，登五岳，足跡遍華夏。

近40年來其作品多次參加國際國內大賽或邀請展。借出訪多個國家和地區(qū)進行學術交流的機會，他廣泛搜集創(chuàng)作素材。深厚的文化素養(yǎng)和對自然山水直接、充分的觀察體驗，使得他滌蕩出一顆“趣遠之心”，從而為傳達山水的鮮活神韻和淡遠意境提供了可能，正所謂“讀萬卷書、行萬里路，胸中脫去塵濁，自然丘壑內營，立成-鄂，隨手寫出，皆為山水傳神矣”。

Yang Honglin was born in Yangzhou city of Chinas Jiangsu province and is good at oil painting and traditional Chinese painting on landscape， flowers and birds. Yang further studied at the Department of traditional Chinese painting， Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1985， and has been invited to display his artworks at exhibitions in China and foreign countries and regions such as Japan， South Korea， Singapore， the U.S. and France. Yang is a member of Chinese Artists Association， member of Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Association， vice president of Painting and Calligraphy Institute of China preQin History Association， researcher and professor of Communication University of China， and honorary dean of Mount Wutai Painting and Calligraphy Institute.

楊鴻林，又楊帆，號八怪鄉(xiāng)人、醉墨仙，江蘇揚州人。善國畫山水、花鳥及油畫。

1980年入伍，1983年轉業(yè)在北京當美術編輯兼新聞記者。1985年考入中央美術學院國畫系深造，師從賈又福、李行簡等教授。

1984年至今參加北京、青島、廣州、香港、臺灣及日本丶韓國、新加坡、美國丶法國等地聯展或邀請展。

中國美術家協(xié)會員、中國書畫協(xié)會理事、中國先秦史學會書畫院副院長、中國傳媒大學美術傳媒研究所研究員兼教授。中國五臺山書畫院名譽院長。
