Hanfu is the traditional clothing of the Han people who lived in China before the Qing Dynasty. It has been around for about 3,000 years. It changed greatly during different dynasties. However, some of its major characteristics (特點(diǎn)) have stayed.
漢服是中國清代以前漢族人的傳統(tǒng)服裝。它已經(jīng)存在大約3000年了。它在不同的朝代更迭間發(fā)生了巨大的變化。然而,它的一些主要特征仍然存在。
One of these characteristics is the collar (領(lǐng)子). There are two parts that overlap (交疊) on the front. They are called“jiao ling” (crossing collar, 交領(lǐng)). The order of the two parts is important. The crossing is always on his or her right side. Its called“you ren”(right front, 右衽).

Another major characteristic of hanfu is that it usually doesnt have buttons (扣子). It uses ribbons (系帶) instead.
