(一)A Ten-minute Break
As a Senior Three student, time seems much limited. As a result, more and more students try to study from early morning till late afternoon, even during the ten-minute break. In my opinion, to take a ten-minute break between classes is definitely necessary. Otherwise we will feel tired both physically and mentally. During the ten-minute break, we do something to get rid of tiredness. What we need is to have a real rest, instead of getting more tired. So doing nothing tiring in that period is really good for us. My ten-minute break is always pleasing. Sometimes I do some simple exercises. Sometimes I have a free chat with my classmates or just take a walk outside. When the next class begins, I feel fresh again.
(二)Should Students Make Friends On Lin
Should students make friends on line? Some people say yes. The Internet helps make many friends. Chatting on line, students can express their feelings and opinions more freely, and even get help with their foreign language studies.
Others, however, think students should not. They say making friends on line is a waste of time, which should be spent more meaningfully on study. Besides, some students, get cheated on line.
It is my opinion that students should place their study, health and safety before other, things. As for friendship, we can readily find it in our classmates and other people around us.
(三)My Ambition
My ambition is to become a teacher. As a child, I had many dreams, but becoming teacher is the most thing I want to be. During the class, I pay more attention to teachers instruction, and act as teachers helper. I think teacher has more influence on childrens mind and behavior. There are many crimes and disorders in our society, as many of outlaws come from broken family and humans greed. If I can be a teacher, I definitely will ask my students be a honor and useful person. The goal of our life is to help each other and reach the harmony happiness. I hope my ambition and dream can come true. I am willing to study hard and become a teacher in the future.
(四)To Be A Helpful Man
I was walking along the street when a stranger stopped me and asked me the way to a new restaurant. I answered and told him the route and direction carefully. As soon as I finished, the stranger thanked me and started off. To my surprise, he went in wrong direction. Then I stopped him at once and told him what wrong he had made. Unexpectedly, he smiled and told me the truth that he didnt really want to ask the way, but, instead, he was just trying to know whether everyone knew exactly where the new restaurant was, for he was the new owner of the restaurant. Then I knew who he was and what he wanted to do.
(五)An Instructive Day
Today is March 12, our national Tree Planting Day. Our Class observed the day by planting trees.
In high spirits we talked and smiled all the way. As soon as we got to a piece of wasteland far from the school, we began to work. Some were engaged in digging holes; some were busying themselves in covering the roots of the young trees with earth and watering the trees one by one. We worked so hard that soon each of us was wet in sweat.
On the way home we kept on singing up, because weve done a good thing to make our homeland green.
How Could Anyone Stoop So Low??哪有人能彎腰彎那么低的???
Our manager at the restaurant where I worked was a much beloved, jovial man. But there was one subject you didn't dare discuss in front of him—his height. Or, should I say, his lack of it. One day, he stormed through the door and announced angrily, “Someone just picked my pocket!” Most of my fellow waitresses and I were speechless, except for the one who blurted out, “How could anyone stoop so low?”
