We have continued to release the vitality of foreign affairs resources and engage ourselves more deeply into regional exchanges and cooperation.We have actively participated in bilateral and multilateral cooperation mechanisms between China and ASEAN, China and Central and Eastern Europe, and China and Latin America, sped up the coordination between ILSTC and Lancang-Mekong cooperation, and strived to play a leading role in promoting Belt and Road cooperation.

重慶外辦積極邀請烏拉圭、匈牙利、新加坡、墨西哥、愛爾蘭、韓國、德國等多國政要、領(lǐng)事官員、國外客商參加智博會、西洽會、陸海新通道國際合作論壇等重大國際會議、國際館參展等活動，不斷加強與駐渝領(lǐng)事機構(gòu)、各國政府和企業(yè)在渝代表處聯(lián)系。

Chongqing Foreign Affairs Office has actively invited dignitaries, consular officials and foreign businessmen from Uruguay, Hungary, Singapore, Mexico, Ireland, South Korea, and Germany to participate in major international conferences and international exhibitions such as the Smart China Expo, the Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade, and New Land Sea Corridor International Cooperation Forum, and has continuously strengthened contacts with consular agencies and offices of foreign governments and enterprises in Chongqing.

8月22日至24日，2022中國國際智能產(chǎn)業(yè)博覽會在重慶舉行。以“智能化：為經(jīng)濟賦能，為生活添彩”為主題，重點圍繞國家發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略、產(chǎn)業(yè)發(fā)展趨勢，聚焦數(shù)字產(chǎn)業(yè)化、產(chǎn)業(yè)數(shù)字化，集中展示大數(shù)據(jù)智能化發(fā)展成果。來自19個國家和地區(qū)的665家單位參展，共簽約重大招商項目70個，合同投資額2121.1億元，100多項新產(chǎn)品、新技術(shù)、新成果首次發(fā)布。

The Smart China Expo 2022 was held in Chongqing from August 22ndto 24th. The Smart China Expo 2022, with the theme “Smart Technology: Empowering Economy, Enriching Life,” focused on national development strategies and industrial development trends, as well as on developing the digital industry and making industries digital. Accomplishments were showcased in the development of big data and smart technology. A total of 665 organizations from 19 countries and regions participated in the Expo and signed 70 major investment projects with a contracted investment of RMB212.11 billion. More than 100 new products,technologies, and achievements were released for the first time.

The Fourth Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade

7月22日至24日，第四屆中國西部國際投資貿(mào)易洽談會在重慶舉行。以“走進西部、洽談未來”為主題，采取“專題展會+高峰論壇+投資貿(mào)易活動”線上線下相結(jié)合的形式。

邀請墨西哥擔(dān)任主賓國。四川、寧夏擔(dān)任主賓省。來自24個國家和地區(qū)、國內(nèi)25個省區(qū)市的899家企業(yè)參展。國際館展覽面積2000平方米，主要展示“一帶一路”沿線國家形象和特色、RCEP成員國經(jīng)貿(mào)合作項目和發(fā)展最新成果。

2022年7月，第四屆中國西部國際投資貿(mào)易洽談會、2022陸海新通道國際合作論壇在重慶舉行。

The Fourth Western China International Fair for Investment and Trade was held in Chongqing from July 22ndto 24th. With the theme of “Joining Hands with the West for a Brighter Future”, themed exhibitions, summits/forums, and investment and trade activities were held online and in person.

Mexico was invited as the Guest Country of Honor and Sichuan Province and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region as the Guest Provinces of Honor. A total of 899 enterprises from 24 countries and regions and 25 provinces, autonomous regions, and municipalities in China participated in the Fair.The International Pavilion, with an exhibition area of 2,000 square meters, primarily displays the national image and characteristics of countries along the Belt and Road, as well as economic and trade cooperation projects and the most recent development achievements of RCEP member countries.

2022 Sichuan-Chongqing Region & Mekong Countries Sub-national Cooperation Forum

11月24日，四川省、重慶市合作舉辦2022年川渝地區(qū)——湄公河國家地方合作論壇舉行。以“同飲一江水·共贏新時代”為主題，來自湄公河國家駐華機構(gòu)、地方政府，以及四川省、重慶市相關(guān)部門、高校、智庫、協(xié)會、企業(yè)的代表以線上線下相結(jié)合的方式參加論壇，把論壇打造成為瀾湄國家發(fā)展規(guī)劃和川渝兩地協(xié)同發(fā)展的重要交流合作平臺，助力成渝地區(qū)雙城經(jīng)濟圈建設(shè)。

2022年11月，市政府外辦主任王雯在川渝地區(qū)——湄公河國家地方合作論壇開幕式發(fā)表視頻致辭。

On November 24th, Sichuan Province and Chongqing Municipality jointly held the 2022 Sichuan-Chongqing Region& Mekong Countries Sub-national Cooperation Forum. Themed on “Winwin in the New Era Empowered by the Shared River”, the Forum was attended in person and online by representatives from China-based offices and local governments of Mekong countries, as well as relevant departments, colleges and universities, think tanks, associations, and enterprises in Sichuan and Chongqing.Joint efforts would be made to build the Forum into an important exchange and cooperation platform for planning and development for Lancang-Mekong countries as well as the synchronized development of Sichuan and Chongqing.

Focusing on economic and trade exchanges and cooperation and leveraging foreign affairs resources,Chongqing implemented the Chongqing-ASEAN Cooperation Action Plan and continued to interact with governments and enterprises in RCEP countries, promote pragmatic cooperation with SCO countries and Latin American countries, and contribute to opening up to a greater scope, a broader field, and a deeper level.

重慶外辦積極協(xié)調(diào)推動新開和恢復(fù)國際航班。2022年新開和恢復(fù)9條國際（地區(qū)）客運航線，入境航班由年初的每周2班300人增加至每周19班2200人。支持企業(yè)通過包機接返海外員工3293人，助力復(fù)工復(fù)產(chǎn)有序推進，經(jīng)濟活力加速釋放。

Chongqing Foreign Affairs Office has made active coordination for new and reopened international flights. Nine newly-added or reopened international (regional) passenger routes were made available in 2022. The number of inbound flights increased from 300 passengers on 2 flights per week at the beginning of the year to 2,200 passengers on 19 flights per week.This enabled businesses to charter flights to pick up 3,293 workers overseas, allowing them to resume work and production in an orderly manner. Economic vitality continued to be unleashed at an accelerated rate.

重慶與各國駐渝蓉領(lǐng)事館、國際機構(gòu)、商協(xié)會代表機構(gòu)互動頻繁，通過在渝舉辦展覽、論壇、賽事等多種形式的文化藝術(shù)活動，促進與各國人文領(lǐng)域交流融合。組織或參加相關(guān)活動80余場，達成近100項合作共識。

Chongqing interacted frequently with Chongqing and Chengdu-based consulates, international institutions, and representative offices of chambers of commerce and associations. Through exhibitions,forums, contests, and other cultural and arts events,international exchanges and interactions in the field of humanities were advanced. The Foreign Affairs Office of Chongqing Municipal People’s Government organized or participated in more than 80 activities and nearly 100 cooperation agreements were reached.
