Chongqing promotes its image on the international stage from the perspective of foreign affairs and tells good stories of China, Chongqing chapter by shedding light on Chongqing features, China’s visions, and global expressions. Focusing on studying, promoting, and implementing the guiding principles of the 20thCPC National Congress and the central tasks, and serving the overall interests, Chongqing meticulously prepared activities to show an image of an open Chongqing with strides of confidence to display the features of its foreign affairs work.

策劃推出反映全市“外防輸入”工作的原創(chuàng)短視頻《勇敢的缺席的人》,全網全平臺聯(lián)動熱搜,瀏覽量突破500萬,獲新華社移動端首頁要聞版置頂推薦,人民網、中新網、學習強國、重慶發(fā)布等各大媒體平臺轉發(fā)。
原創(chuàng)精品外宣欄目“外國使領館官員話重慶”“外國友人講重慶故事”編發(fā)6期,專訪墨西哥駐華大使施雅德、荷蘭駐重慶總領事包適等,巧借“外嘴”講好重慶故事,獲得新華網等媒體轉發(fā)以及使領館、國際友城、在渝外籍友好人士廣泛好評。
重慶外事微信公眾號新增關注粉絲人數(shù)較去年增長30%,其中發(fā)布英文信息140余篇,及時回應外國駐渝領事機構、外國商協(xié)會、在渝外籍人士和港澳同胞關切。
Brave but Absent Heroes,an original short video dedicated to those working to prevent inbound COVID cases, went viral on all social media with over 5 million views. It was recommended and put on the front page by Xinhua Web, and reposted by many mainstream media accounts including People.cn, Chinanews.com,Xuexi.com, and Chongqing Release.
6 issues of “Chongqing in the Eyes of Foreign Consuls” and “Chongqing Stories from Foreign Friends”, original publicity programs,were published. Interviews with the Mexican ambassador to China Mr. Jesús Seade Kuri, and Mr.Huub Buise, general consular of the Netherlands in Chongqing were conducted. Chongqing’s practice of letting foreign friends tell good local stories has been reported by Xinhua Agency, and widely appreciated by consulates, sister cities, and foreign friends residing in Chongqing.
The new followers gained by Chongqing Foreign Affairs Wechat Public Account this year increased by 30% compared with last year. Over 140 English posts were published to promptly respond to the concerns of foreign consular agencies, foreign business associations or chambers of commerce, foreigners and compatriots from Hong Kong SAR and Macao SAR in Chongqing.

Focusing on the central tasks of the central government, the whole city, and the Foreign Affairs of Chongqing Municipal Government, we took the lead in planning and co-producing news topics, which were reported by the central media, municipal media, and overseas media in Chongqing(China).
與重慶日報協(xié)同策劃,推動涉外新聞宣傳向深度報道、綜合報道轉型。
Through collaborative planning with Chongqing Daily, the transformation of foreign-related news publicity to in-depth and comprehensive reporting was facilitated.
聯(lián)動重慶國際傳播中心,在iChongqing英文網站專門頻道編發(fā)涉外圖文報道,在Facebook、Twitter、YouTube、抖音等社交平臺發(fā)布外賓訪渝、國際合作、人文交流、重要外事活動相關推文 。
組織開展中外媒體記者聯(lián)合采訪團重慶區(qū)縣行活動,持續(xù)拓寬對外發(fā)聲渠道。積極參與重慶城市國際形象傳播系列活動,邀請外國使領館官員、境外媒體及在渝外籍友好人士參加考察、采訪等體驗活動,通過重慶角度,助推中華傳統(tǒng)文化和重慶開放發(fā)展成果走向世界。
新加坡聯(lián)合早報、香港商報、大公報等駐渝國(境)外媒體,聚焦重慶外事、港澳等工作,采訪編發(fā)報道20余篇,積極拓展和營造了良好外部輿論環(huán)境。
We worked with Chongqing International Communication Center, published foreign-related graphic reports on a special channel of iChongqing English website and sent out content related to foreign guests’ visits to Chongqing, international cooperation, people-to-people exchanges, and important foreign affairs activities on social networks including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube,and Tiktok.
We have organized and carried out joint interview events of Chinese and foreign media reporters. By continuously broadening the channels of communication, we actively participated in the series of activities to promote the international city image of Chongqing,and have invited officials of foreign embassies and consulates, overseas media, and foreign friends in Chongqing to participate in field visits,interviews, and other experiential activities, helping to promote traditional Chinese culture and the achievements of Chongqing’s opening-up and development to the world via the Chongqing perspective.
Lianhe Zaobao of Singapore, Hong Kong Commercial Daily, Ta Kung Pao, and other foreign/overseas media in Chongqing (territory),focused media coverage on Chongqing’s foreign affairs, Hong Kong and Macao affairs, published more than 20 interviews and reports, and actively expanded and created a good public opinion environment.
