教學(xué)步驟
Step 1.Warm-up
1.Free talk.
2.(PPT)Lookandguess.(To lead in“What’s this?It’s a...”,then teach“pig”.)
3.Write the topic“Animals”on the blackboard.
(Unit 4______animals!)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:由三角形和圓形構(gòu)成的神秘圖片開始,讓學(xué)生猜動(dòng)物,既引起了學(xué)生極大的興趣,又引出了本課的新授單詞pig。
Step 2.Presentation
1.(PPT)Shows a picture of forest.
T:The animals are coming.First,what’s this?It’s a cat.
(Practice the pronunciation of cat.)
2.Continue to learn the three animals words (dog,duck,bear)in different ways.
a.Phonics,chant.
b.Read in roles (Boys&Girls).
c.Practice the pronunciation of bear.
(To avoid teaching words in one way.)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:創(chuàng)設(shè)本課的情境,森林里來了很多的動(dòng)物,和我們友好地打招呼,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生和動(dòng)物們問好,并借機(jī)介紹各個(gè)動(dòng)物的英語單詞。在教授新學(xué)單詞時(shí)采用多種方式,如自然發(fā)音法、創(chuàng)編chant、開火車讀等等,盡量避免用單一的形式教學(xué)新詞。
Step 3.Practice
1.Chant and Do.
T:Boys and girls,show me your hands,bear,bear,bear,act like a bear.
Ss:(follow the teacher)
(Practice the new words in chant and TPR.)
2.Game: Find out the animals.
(Practice the key sentences in classroom.)
3. Work in group (4 students in a group),practice the key sentences in three ways.
a.Make animal sounds to ask and answer.
b.Act like an animal to ask and answer.
c.Point to the pictures in the book to ask and answer.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過chant,和小動(dòng)物玩捉迷藏的游戲,分組練習(xí)等等活動(dòng)來操練本課的新授單詞,讓學(xué)生在游戲、chant等各類活動(dòng)中自然操練習(xí)得知識(shí)。
Step 4.Let’s talk(Dialogs in the book)
1.Listen and point.
2.Listen and read.
3.Read in pairs loudly.
4.Read in roles. (Boys and Girls)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:回歸文本,讓學(xué)生在活動(dòng)后自然地回到課本,通過聽指、聽讀等方式熟悉課本中的單詞和句型。
Step 5.Consolidation and extention
1.Let’s have a test game.
(Summarize the animals we learned today.)
2.Group work:Help to find“home”.
The animals lost the way.Let’s help them.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:本課的情境:和小動(dòng)物們愉快地玩耍,不知不覺到該回家的時(shí)候了,可小動(dòng)物們卻迷路了。讓學(xué)生幫動(dòng)物找到自己的家。通過給小動(dòng)物排隊(duì)和幫助小動(dòng)物找到自己的家,區(qū)分哪些是住在森林里的,哪些是住在農(nóng)場里的。讓學(xué)生初步理解日常生活中我們會(huì)在哪些場所看到哪一類動(dòng)物,使學(xué)生有“歸類”的概念。本環(huán)節(jié)對本課進(jìn)行了拓展,讓學(xué)生接觸更多的動(dòng)物類單詞。
Step 6.Summary
1.(PPT)Shows avideo of animals.
The animals are our friends! We should love animals!
(Complete the title and write on the blackboard“Unit 4 We love animals!”)
2.Sing a song“We love animals”.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過視頻看到動(dòng)物和人類的和諧共存,適時(shí)進(jìn)行情感教育,告訴學(xué)生要愛動(dòng)物,保護(hù)動(dòng)物。
Step 7.Homework
1.Finish the exercise on P44:look and Match.
(Which animal is the first one to come to see us today?Let’s give it a golden cup.)
2.Learn to sing a song“Brown bear”.
3.Read a picture book“Our Pets”.
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:對作業(yè)進(jìn)行了難度分類,讓不同程度的學(xué)生都有了適合自己的作業(yè),鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生在完成簡單作業(yè)之后挑戰(zhàn)難度大的作業(yè),獲得更多的獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)。
