1.如何讓學生根據(jù)漢字的形成方式來解釋漢字的意義。

2.學習在小組合作中如何提高英語。

教學方法：

“531”課堂模式下的小組合作，學生展示等教學形式。

教學步驟：

Step 1. 新課導入

In reading，we learn English and its history. Do you want to know something about the development of Chinese characters？ Today I will show you something about its development. Lets enjoy a short movie.漢字演變.flv . The development of Chinese characters reveals（反映）the development of our culture.

【設計說明】通過與文章關聯(lián)的小電影的欣賞，把學生很自然地引入到新課中，同時也挑起了他們學習課文內(nèi)容的濃厚興趣。

Step 2. 小組比賽

比一比，賽一賽

Who can draw some pictures to show the development of a certain word？

【設計說明】小組比賽，更容易激發(fā)學生的學習熱情，讓他們自然而然地再次被吸引到文章主題上去。

Step 3. 閱讀理解

1.快速閱讀

Answer the following questions：

1）Who first invented Chinese writing？

2）When did the Chinese government introduce simplified Chinese characters？

【設計說明】通過快速閱讀，培養(yǎng)了學生迅速尋找有用信息的能力，使他們初步對課文的體裁和內(nèi)容有所了解。

2. 仔細閱讀

（任務1.） 回答問題：

1）How old is the Chinese writing？

2）How did Cang Jie invent Chinese writing？

3） Were all characters developed from drawings of objects？

4）How did the character of “mountain” develop over time？ Can you give any other examples？

Nowadays there are so many borrowed words in our language. Please cite some examples and talk about whether it is necessary for us to use such words.

富士：英語FUJI的音譯，日本的著名的膠片。

布丁：英語PUDDING的音譯，西餐中的一種甜點心。

金利來：譯自英語GOLDENLION，原意為金獅，一種品牌。

【設計說明】通過學生分組討論，有效地鍛煉了他們分析事物的能力，從而使本節(jié)課內(nèi)容達到升華，在他們腦海中留下了更為深刻的印象。

Step 6. 課堂總結(jié)

【設計說明】通過課堂回顧，讓本節(jié)課所學內(nèi)容在學生腦海又重新閃現(xiàn)了一遍，從而讓他們不容易遺忘。

Step 7. 家庭作業(yè)

Find more information on the Internet about the development of Chinese characters.

【設計說明】通過網(wǎng)絡閱讀，提高學生搜尋、定位、整合信息的能力，為下一課時的圖冊制作實現(xiàn)素材的積累。

教后記：通過本節(jié)課的學習，讓學生對漢字的發(fā)展有了深入的了解，學生們對這節(jié)課也是很有興趣的，從象形字，會意字，指事字到形聲字，無一不給他們留下深刻的印象。在以后的教學中，我覺得應該注重這方面的開導，注意開拓學生們的視野，讓他們對外面的世界，中國的文化瑰寶有更進一步的認識，同時，不斷訓練他們的閱讀技巧，提高他們的閱讀水平。endprint
